WHAT HAPPENED CHRISTMAS NIGHT 1956?
Flashes from the sky... And then the great blackout.
The night of the 24th of December was something straight out of a horror-fiction novel. The streets of Branborough, pitch-black and iced over, were dangerous that fateful night. Locals described hearing noises from outside their windows and faint shadows lurking past their candle-lit windows. It seemed as if a gruesome plan was coming together in the darkness, for there were many victims (mainly town officials, leaders of the church) as authorities unveiled the tragic outcome of the incident.

LOOTS, MURDER, RAMPAGE.
Radio silence, dead telephone lines and the alltogether snowed in infrastructure made it impossible to reach first responders.

WHO WERE THE HOWLING VOICES?
We know the Yuletide has many dark legends and tales to offer... And as it seemed for one night all of these came true.
A howling in the wind, followed by lamenting sighs could be heard until dawn. The images of figures dressed in red, even thin ghost-like "skeletons" dragging chains (as described by eye-witnesses) will surely haunt the inhabitants of Branborough for many (hopefully cheerful) Christmas Nights to come.
